The death occurred suddenly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, December 4, 2008, of Mrs. Sadie Alberta Bowman (nee MacLean) of Donaldston and formerly of Canoe Cove, age 69 years. Beloved wife of Frank and dear mother of Stephen Blair (Crystal) of Osoyous, B.C. Alberta is also fondly remembered by her grandson, Felix Avery Bowman; sisters, Minerva Bottomley and Edith MacLean; and brother, Elvet MacLean. Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home until Wednesday afternoon where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the family plot in the Canoe Cove Presbyterian Cemetery. If so desired, memorials in Alberta’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I.
