ESTHER FAYE HANCHEROW Faye passed away on December 2, 2008 following a courageous battle with liver cancer. She was born June 17, 1941 at Kindersley, SK. Faye is survived by Bob, her beloved husband of 45 years. She is also survived by her much loved sisters Elaine (Don) Moulton, of Alix, AB and Lucille (David) Evans of Smiley, SK and her brother Grant Rennie of Flaxcombe, SK, surviving her are numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Faye is predeceased by her parents Alex and Esther Rennie. Faye was a resident of Kamloops for 39 years, having previously lived in Saskatoon, Watson Lake, Yukon and Merritt. Prior to her retirement in 1999, she was employed as a school secretary at George Hilliard and Beattie Elementary Schools. Faye’s enthusiasm for life, positive outlook, personal courage and selfless love for her family knew no bounds. She took great pleasure in sharing in the lives of her nieces and nephews. Faye enjoyed travels, hockey games, scrap booking and sudoku puzzles. Her family is deeply grateful to Dr. Julie Anderson and the staff at Summit Medical Clinic for their dedicated and compassionate care. Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kindersley Community Funeral Home, 118 - 3rd Avenue West, Kindersley, SK. Interment will follow at the Kindersley Cemetery. A “Celebration of Life” will be held in Kamloops at a later date. Further details will be announced.
