INEZ REED GRADY (nee Townsend) September 26, 1922 - December 15, 2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Inez Reed Grady. She left us peacefully on the morning of Monday, December 15, 2008 at Royal Inland Hospital with her loving family at her side. She was tired and God took her home to eternal rest. Inez was predeceased by her parents Albert and Frances Townsend, her stepfather Alec Anderson, her sisters Evelyn Boyd (Richard) and Myrtle Morrison (Garnet), and her nieces Linda Coulter and Nadine Thomson. Left to cherish Inez’s memory are her husband Cecil Grady, daughters Maureen Grady and Sharie Lomas (Ken), and her beloved grandchildren Alia Lomas and Jeff Lomas. Others who join us in mourning her loss are her cousin Maxine Thomson (Wesley), her great-niece Lindsay Coulter, her great-nephew David Coulter of Winnipeg, Manitoba and her nephew James Thomson (Jenny) of San Diego, California. Inez was born in Eden, Manitoba on September 26, 1922, the youngest of three daughters born to Albert and Frances Townsend. Inez married Cecil Grady (RAF) on January 22, 1944 at the family home in Eden, Manitoba. She was very much looking forward to celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary on January 22, 2009.
