COLLINS On December 16, 2008 Mr. Brian C. Collins passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops at the age of 60 years. He is survived by his loving wife Shirley, his son Carey (Terri) Collins and two grandchildren Madison and Gavin of Langley and his daughter Theresa (Kevin) Chestley of Kamloops, B.C. Brian was predeceased by his mother, father and two brothers Ken and Floyd. Brian lived an active live. He was a successful Realtor and Real Estate agent, previous to that Brian owned and operated other business ventures including a furniture and stationery store. During ball season (slow pitch), Brian spent many years on the ball diamond pitching for his business teams or managing others. Brian pitched in the provincials and nationals and won numerous trophies as well as MVP’s. Brian’s love for the game continued behind the plate as a carded umpire. Brian gave to the community and was active in K.I.B.I.T., he curled, played racquetball and loved being with people. He smiled most often when seen with others, his kindness was infectious. He was loved by family and friends and will be sadly missed! A Celebration of Brian’s life will be held in the spring at the Southwest Baptist Church. Interment of Brian’s cremated remains will take place at Hillside Cemetery. Should friends desire, donations to the New Life Mission, PO Box 712, Stn Main, Kamloops, B.C.
