AEICHELE, ELMER WILBERT Elmer Wilbert Aeichele, 78 years, formerly of Kamloops, B.C. passed away in Maple Ridge B.C. on January 4, 2009. Elmer traveled the roads as a long distance driver for many years before he became an owner operator with his dump truck which he called “Miss Pebbles”. Elmer and Miss Pebbles worked on numerous projects including the construction of the Coquihalla Highway. They retired from the roads in 1996. He was involved in all aspects of the Minor Hockey League in Kamloops. Elmer is survived by his wife Mona, a daughter Debbie, sons Rick (Cathy), Randy (Sherry), Raymond; grandchildren Linsey (Neal), Shelby (Matt), Zack, Hannah, Jessica, brothers Larry, Roger, David; sisters Marilynn, Shirley, Marge, Judy, Lorraine and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Predeceased by Mom & Dad Louis and Susanne, three brothers Clarence (Blondie), Don and Dennis. A Celebration of Life service for Elmer will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church, 23500 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge. There will be another Celebration of Life service in Kamloops with date and time to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to a charity of choice or the B.C.
