It is with great sadness that the family of Pearl Sawicki announces her passing at Overlander Extended Care Hospital on January 5th, at the age of 90 years with family members at her side.

Pearl is survived by her sons, Bill (Judy) Cochran and Dale (Margaret) Cochran; grandchildren, Del (Colleen) Cochran, Melanie (Steve) Aura, Lisa Cochran, Jonathan (Jen) Cochran, and Kenneth (Arlana) Cochran; great grandchildren Chelsea, Jordyn, Alexa & Keysha Cochran, Owen & Hunter Aura, all of Kamloops. Pearl is also fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Pearl Werenka of Edmonton, AB, nephew John (Geraldine) Glowacki of Kamloops, niece Judy (Dave) Hood of New Westminster, BC and many other relatives, nieces and nephews.

Pearl was predeceased by her husbands Wayne Cochran and Nestor Sawicki, also by two brothers and three sisters.

Nana loved to coffee with her lady friends at various coffee shops downtown, loved to play Bingo, and enjoyed being with family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the Overlander Extended Care Hospital and staff at Orchard Grove for their care to make Nana's stay as pleasant as possible; especially Shirley, Kathy and Gayle for their compassion and kindness in her remaining days, and to Father Derrick for administering last rights.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery, Kamloops.
