YOUNG Rose died peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the age of 89. Survived by her loving family, brothers Walter Stepp of N. Vancouver and Wilf Yung of Kelowna, sisters Laura Balogh and Hilda (Steve) Kleskovic both of Kelowna and numerous nieces and nephews. Sadly predeceased by her parents, sister Margaret Stepp, brothers John Yung, Joe Yung, George Young and Mike Yung. Rose lived a long, beautiful, independent life, devoted to her faith and her church. She was a kind soul who was ready with a prayer for anyone she met. Prayers will be recited on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road. Funeral Mass will follow on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Church, 839 Sutherland Ave., Kelowna. Cremation.
