EDGAR Bruce Lloyd Edgar was born on February 16, 1968 to Dorothy Douglas and David Edgar. Suddenly and unexpectedly, Bruce passed away Saturday, January 24th, 2009 at his home in Mill Bay, British Columbia. From day-one, Bruce was a ball of energy. Neither of his brothers, Brian and Grant, could keep pace with him at work or play and he gave his parents and step-parents, Jack Douglas and Izzy Aitcheson, something to chase too. Bruce's gifts were numerous but most loved was his ability to make life bloom, in the garden and the heart. Not afraid of a challenge, he saw many of lifes curves as opportunities to learn. He had a knack for putting a smile on your face with his sly grin, laugh, or a crazy manoeuvre. He was a people person through and through, the first to lend a hand or a buck and quickest to place the value of people above material wealth. Carve your skis deep into that powder you're in now. You will be missed more than you could have ever imagined. We love you man! An informal gathering to celebrate Bruce's Life will be held in Mill Bay, between Nanaimo and Victoria, on Saturday, January 31st, 2009 in the afternoon.
