Passed in: British Columbia, Canada

DAVID RINK; David Rink spent his final months in the Caribbean with his beautiful wife Jean and daughters Ann and Connie before succumbing to complications from Alzheimer's. David was born to Joseph Rink and Ann Kovalench in April 1929 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Dave was a great hockey player and loved to dance and socialize. He married Margaret Jean Truscott in January 1953. In Saskatchewan, they had three small hotels, invested in apartment buildings and sold commercial real estate. In 1979, they bought the Travelodge Motel in Kamloops and eventually all their children moved west. David was a devout Catholic and enjoyed being a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and helping at church. Dave will be remembered for the ease with which he made people laugh; his funny stories and crazy sayings. Dave loved dogs and loved to walk, always stopping to talk or to have a coffee with a friend. David is survived by his wife Margaret Jean Truscott, their six children: Michael (Marnie), Kimron (Cathy), Perry (Coral), Mary (Thomas), Ann (Victor) and Connie (Jason) and 17 grandchildren: Nicole, Caj, Tyler, Jarret, Danny, Daniel, Caleb, Stuart, Keegan, David, Sasha, Beryl, Keiran, Keanna, Magena, Alex, and Cloe. David is predeceased by his parents and grandson Christopher
