It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rose (Greene) Dennis announce her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Thursday January 7, 2010 at the age of 56 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband David Dennis of 36 years, daughter Connie Young (Ken), son Jason, mother Dora Greene, grandchildren: Jeremy Dennis, Courtnee Perrett, and Leya Dennis, sisters: Dorothy George (Wilfred), Mildred Lynch (William), Joan O’Keefe (Robert), brothers: Bill (Jocelyn) Greene, Peter (Tina) Greene, Anthony (Tammy) Greene, Bruce (Denise) Greene, brother-in-law, Donald (Ann) Dennis, sisters-in-law: Annie White, Lottie Gauthier (Bob), and Roella Pennell, 18 nieces and 10 nephews as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her father William Greene July 23, 2009, brothers: Archie, Ted, and Elvis Greene, and grandson Lucas Dennis. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road on Saturday January 9, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday January 10, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel 167 Country Road on Monday January 11, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Sister Mildred Chabassol officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Benoit’s Cove, NL. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family or charity of one’s choice.
