MABEL ROSE CHRISTIE. January 24, 1921 - February 9, 2009 .It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by Gordon, her husband and companion of 70 years, sister Helen Gopsill, brothers Harold Armstrong, Fred (Toni) Armstrong. Six children, sons Gordon, Ron (Gemma), Bruce (Maggie), Bob, daughters Judy (Larry), Janice (Ken). Also leaving 13 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. Mom was born in Edson, Alberta moving to Kamloops in 1963. In her younger years, mom played hockey, and her team won the Alberta women's championship, she was also known for her ball playing ability. <B> Mom you will be in our hearts forever.
