Reva (Sears) LeBlanc Wells
1955-2012
Sackville, N.B. – It is with great sadness that Reva’s family announce her passing on Monday, July 16, 2012, at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Reva was 56 years of age.
Reva was born in Sackville, N.B., on December 12, 1955, and was the daughter of the late Sybilla "Bill" (Goodwin) and Gerald "Jud" Sears.
Reva touched many lives throughout her life and during her eight long years battling lymphoma and leukemia. Reva was a true teacher of life and was a gift to her large family and many friends. She continued to give inspiration until the very end. She will be greatly missed by her Mount Allison University family, where she gave 18 years service, Henderson’s Pharmacy/Jean Coutu, Salem and Marshview Schools and by her many other friends.
Reva will be sadly missed by her daughters, Renee LeBlanc (Greg) George and Natalie LeBlanc (Jason) Hicks; six grandchildren, Quinten, Peyton, Natalie, Tyler, Makayla and Julianna; three brothers, Mike (Sharon) Sears, Albert (Delores) Sears and Colin (Louitta) Sears; three sisters, Janice (Bryan) Withers, Muriel (Ernest) Austin and Rosa (Guy) LeBlanc; half-brother Paul (Gaby) Goodwin as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides her parents, Reva was pre-deceased by her sister Sharon Tower (Wayne) and by her brother Gerald James.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). In keeping with Reva’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visiting hours. Family and friends were invited to attend her funeral service, which was held on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Main Street Baptist Church, with Rev. Hal Lowther officiating. Burial in the Midgic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Reva may be made to the charity of ones choice.
