BRENDA MACKENZIE.;It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Brenda Maureen MacKenzie on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the age of 59. Although unexpected, it is of some comfort to those that loved her that mom passed away peacefully in her sleep. Mom is survived by her loving children Donnie (Sonia) MacKenzie of Calgary, AB, Tanya (Ross) Presta of Kamloops, BC; grandson Tristan MacKenzie, mom's new found bundle of joy; former husband Don MacKenzie of Kamloops, BC; siblings Kenneth (Debbie) Conrad of Edmonton, AB, Bernard Conrad of Vancouver, BC; sister-in-law Sharon Conrad of Lake Echo, NS; and mom's several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her fury little companion Kia who will sorely miss her. Mom was predeceased by her parents Florence and Edison Conrad of Dartmouth, NS and brother William Conrad of Lake Echo, NS. Mom was born on September 10th, 1949 in Halifax, NS. She moved to Kamloops, BC with her husband in 1969 and has lived here ever since. Mom will be forever remembered for her unprecedented generosity and kindness. <B> Be at peace mom. </B> <B> We love you and you will forever be in our hearts. </B>Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation and the SPCA.
