Suddenly on Thursday, February 26, 2009, Mrs. Lee Yau Chee Ngo of Kamloops, passed away at the age of 92 years. She is survived by her two sons Henry (Darlene) of Campbell River, B.C. and Ed of Kamloops, her two grandsons Kevin and Keenan. Also left to cherish her memory are nieces and nephews and other extended family. Mrs. Ngo was predeceased by her husband Chuck in 1990, her two brothers and one sister. She was born in China on February 2, 1917 and married her husband Chuck in Hong Kong in 1953. They immigrated to Canada and settled in Lethbridge, Alberta for five years, before moving to Kamloops in 1958. Together they raised their family here in Kamloops. Dedicated to her vegetable and flower gardens, Mrs. Ngo also enjoyed the friendship of her neighbours and the Chinese Community and she especially liked spending time with her two grandsons. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel with Pastor Don Maione officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at Hillside Cemetery. Should friends desire, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 1589 Sutherland Avenue, Kelowna, B.C., V1Y 5V7 in memory of Mrs. Ngo would be appreciated.
