GIDNEY, DEBRA MAY - With her family at her side, Debbie (Loeman) Gidney passed away unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Born in, Saint John, NB., she was the daughter of Lorraine Loeman and the late Hartley Loeman and the former wife of James Gidney. Debbie graduated from Millidgeville North High School and worked for several years at Red Rose Tea. She enjoyed knitting and crafts and meeting with friends at Tim Horton's. Debbie especially loved family gatherings. She lived for the moment and had a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed. Debbie is survived by her mother Lorraine; brothers Steven (Carm) Loeman of Rothesay and Chris (Eleanor) Loeman of West Saint John; sister Terry (Dean) Loeman-Hansen of Saint John; nieces Andrea, Amanda, Shaina and Gabrielle; nephews Alex and Jordan; great nieces Madison, Bailey and Tanaiya; great nephew Mikey; several aunts, uncles and cousins and her special friend Andrew Worden.
Arrangements under the care and direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB., (646-2424) with visitation Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 30, 2012 from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 11 am with interment in Fernhill Cemetery, followed immediately by a reception at the funeral home.
