CARROLL, Marion Frances (Ryan) – Passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Palliative Care Unit, L.A. Miller Centre on Friday, January 8th, 2010, Marion Frances Carroll (Ryan), age 86 years. She has gone to her eternal rest to be reunited with her husband Bill, who passed away April 1996. Remembering with love and celebrating her life are her daughters; Shelley and Brenda; sons: Leonard and wife Sandra (Mercer), Eric and wife Michelle (Doyle); four cherished grandchildren, grandson Blair and wife Kyla (Willis), Kanata, Ontario; granddaughters: Dawn, Heather and Maria; sisters: Annie Foley (Jack, deceased), Margaret Walters (Gus); sisters-in-law Elizabeth Ryan, Hilda Corcoran (Ed, deceased), Madge Caswell (Ed, deceased), Edmonton, Alberta, Catherine Rossiter (Gerald, deceased), lifelong friend Margaret Clarke, neighbours: Judy, Marie and Marilyn, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents William and Marie Ryan, father and mother-in-law Thomas and Catherine Carroll; sisters: Ethel Hannaford (Richard), Lucy Walters (William); brother Thomas Ryan; sister-in-law Ellen Whitten (Ron). Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Friday, January 8th from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday, January 9th and Sunday, January 10th from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Monday, January 11th at 11 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Bonaventure’s College Bursary Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
