Born In: British Columbia, Canada

Passed in: British Columbia, Canada

In Loving Memory of Angela Evans. Angela's life touched all who knew her with love and courage. She was born in Wallaceburg, Ontario and was educated at a convent school and then graduated from High School. She trained as a radiology technician, married and then stayed at home to raise her two children, during which time she developed a talent for pottery and started a home-based pottery business. She lived in Lansing, Michigan, Vancouver, Victoria, Kamloops and Prince George before returning to Kamloops in 1990. She was an active member of the Kamloops Potters' Guild. She and Julian met in 1996, married in 1998 and working as a team they produced some of the finest pottery of her life. Finding Julian as her partner and best friend brought true happiness and a light and joy to Angela's life and work. This was cut tragically short by a stroke in 2002. Although she made a remarkable recovery, she was never able to return to pottery and battled constant pain. Through all these struggles, Angie remained cheerful and true to herself, spreading joy and love to all she met. She gave freely of her time to the Potters' Guild, the Stroke Club, the Singles Group and every friend who ever needed help. Her kindness and generosity were felt by all who knew her. Angela is survived by her husband Julian, daughter Anne Meeson, son Bob Meeson and brother Michael DeRoeven, whom mourn her loss and celebrate her vitality and passion for life. A Celebration of Angie's life will be held at 198 Waddington Dr. on Saturday, March 7th at 2:00 p.m. (no flowers please) Cremation is entrusted to Personal Alternative Funeral Services (250) 554-2324
