It is with great sadness that the family of the late Isaac Tatchell of Castor River South, NL, announce his passing on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Anora; children Sheila, Christine (Primus), Aloysius (Selma), Audrey (Ben), Maxine (Brian), Lucy (Lewis), and Rowena (Craig); 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; son-in-law Warren; sisters Clara Rumbolt and Nellie Plowman; brothers Joseph and Gordon; sisters-in-law Agatha, Maggie and Eliza, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Clara, son-in-law Bill Mahar, parents Henry and Winnifred Tatchell, sister Mabel, brothers Henry, Patrick and Kevin. Visitation took place at Queen of the Angels Catholic Church in Castor River South on Thursday and Friday from where the funeral service took place on Saturday, July 28 at 10:30 a.m., with Fr. Anthony officiating. Interment followed at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bartlett’s Harbour. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
