OTTO BEPPLE The family of Otto Bepple is sad to announce that he passed away peacefully on March 16, 2009 at Ridgeview Lodge. He will be missed by his loving wife of 63 years Eva. Sons, David (Shirlee) of Victoria, Garry (Sharon) of Langley and daughter Bev Thurber (David) of Kamloops. His grandchildren Amber Gilling (Maurice) of Auckland, New Zealand, Derek of North Vancouver, Kaitlyn Thurber of Kingston, Ontario; Matthew Thurber of Kamloops and Jonathon of Langley as well as two great-grandsons Riley and Logan Gilling in New Zealand. He is also survived by his brothers, Oscar (Hedi) and Henry (Irene) and sisters Hilda Kendall and Alma Harding (Fred) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Richard and his brothers Ron (Erna), Chris (Julie) and a sister Frida (Joe). Otto was born on January 1, 1924. His family settled in Brocklehurst in 1933. Otto worked for Canadian Pacific Railway until his retirement in 1987. A Celebration of Otto's Life will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive.
