LAWRENCE FREDRICK HILL. June 10, 1953 - March 6, 2009.;Lawrence passed away suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Kamloops. He is survived by his former wife of 28 years, Donna Hill; her brother, Gary (Paula) Thuveson, nephews, Chris (Maria and Zeke), Jeremy (Ami), Ben, and niece Kara. He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy, and his father, Ron. Lawrence was born in Montreal, grew up in the suburb of Lachine, and worked at Allis Chalmers before moving to Kamloops in 1978. He was employed at Domtar as a Millwright at the time of his death; he will be greatly missed by his friends and co-workers. He was a member of the KTSA, excelling at competitive shooting. He enjoyed golfing, music, the arts and had a great gift with sound recording. He was a genius with all things mechanical and structural. Lawrence had a generous spirit and was always ready to lend a helping hand. His laughter and sense of humour were contagious. His earthly struggles are over and he is now at peace with his Saviour. A service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Summit Drive Baptist Church, 1975 Summit Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations to the New Life Mission would be appreciated
