COULTER, JUDY JEAN - Judy J. Coulter of Upper Queensbury, NB passed away peacefully on August 4, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Judy was born in Fredericton, NB in 1952 and was the eldest daughter of the late Eldon E. and Jean L.(Harris) Brown. Judy happily married Wayne on July 18, 1975 and they spent 37 wonderful years together. Judy often said that her greatest accomplishment in life was her family. She was a gentle and loving mother and grandmother. Judy was known for her positive outlook on life and will be remembered for her quick wit and humourous nature. Judy had a love for all children and enjoyed a fulfilling teaching career. She had a special place in her heart for children who were overcoming challenges and spent her last teaching years as a Resource and Methods teacher. She was the beloved wife of Wayne Coulter and the loving mother of five children, Cali Coulter (Bud), Corwin Coulter, Jolene Coulter, Adrian Coulter and Jasmine Ferguson (Adam); the adoring grandmother of ten grandchildren, Cameron, Carson, Christen, Cassie and Carleigh Tupper, Jordan and Alyssa Coulter and Ainsley, Rilee and Madison Ferguson. Judy is also survived by two sisters, Gertrude Clites (Kenneth) and Lorraine Pickard (Andy); her mother-in-law, Joyce Coulter; three brothers-in-law, Orrin Coulter (Sandra), Kevin Coulter and Laverne Coulter (Cindy); a sister-in-law, Karen Harrison (Lindsay) and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by an infant daughter, Amber Lee, her father-in-law, Major Coulter and her grandparents, Richard and Nina Harris and John and Minnie Brown.
Visitation will be held at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic, NB on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Wayne Hutchison officiating. Interment will follow at the Bear Island Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Judy, the family has suggested the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital or the Bear Island Cemetery. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to family and friends who faithfully supported and encouraged Judy in her journey towards everlasting peace. Special thanks to her friends Judy and Jeannie who were present through it all. Grateful appreciation is extended to Dr. Gowan, Dr. Flower, Dr. Campbell and the exceptional nurses from Palliative Care unit.
