Passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side at the Long Term Care Centre in Corner Brook on Monday, August 6, 2012 at the age of 81 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Colleen (Wayne) Anstey of Deer Lake, one brother, Henry Simmonds of West Bay, 2 grandsons: Greg of Edmonton, Robert (Darlene) of Grand Prairie, Alberta and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Nelson. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Wednesday, August 8th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, August 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Zion Pentecostal Church, Carolina Avenue, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
