WAYNE MORRIS MacCULLOCH. June 6, 1944 - August 10, 2009 Wayne died peacefully at Overlander Extended Care Hospital, Kamloops, BC. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pat, our son Scott (Chantal), grandchildren Liam and Annalise, our daughter Kris, and our biological daughter Joanne Morris and her daughters Katherine and Devon in California. Wayne was a wise and loving husband and father and a devoted educator. He touched many lives in the 28 years he served the Burnaby School District as Teacher, Counsellor and Vice-Principal, bringing the National Student Leadership Conference to BC in 1990 and being instrumental in establishing the BC Provincial Student Leadership Program. Fortunately, Wayne was able to enjoy a number of years in Kamloops at Kingswood, our small cattle ranch before illness forced his entry into long term care at Overlander Hospital. A special note of thanks goes to the wonderful staff who cared so lovingly for him these last four years. Soon after diagnosis, Wayne expressed the wish that as his legacy and in lieu of flowers, donations might be made to the UBC Clinic for Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorders, G35 Purdy Pavilion, 2211 Wesbrook Mall, Vancouver, BC, V6T 2B5. Cheques should be made payable to "Alzheimer Clinic Research" and specify "genetic research". Official receipts will be issued. A Private Celebration of Life is planned in his honour
