aged 95 years, passed peacefully away at Lakeside Homes on Friday, February 29, 2008. Predeceased by his wife Catherine, 2 infant children, James and Catherine and brother Pierce. Leaving to mourn, with fond and loving memories, are his daughter Elizabeth (Corey) Gill of Gander and granddaughter Catherine. He was a member of the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit #1808 during World War II. He will be remembered by a large circle of family and friends. He rested at Stacey's Funeral Home in Gander, Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services Monday, March 3 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery in Gander.
