MAGUIRE, JOHN (SEAN).August 28, 1936 - August 11, 2009 .Sean passed away peacefully at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice House on August 11, 2009. Sean leaves to mourn his passing Dympna, his loving wife of 44 years. Also his sister Peggy Connolly; sisters-in-law Irene Maguire of England, Kathleen Hansen of Ireland, Mary-Jo Robb and Gerry Robb of Canada, Deirdre (Liam) Cunningham of Ireland. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews in Ireland, England, Spain, Mexico, and Australia. Sean was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Maguire, brother Francis Maguire, sister Roisin Steele, sister-in-law Rosaleen McCann, brothers-in-law Gerry Connolly, Bobby Steele and Tom McCann. Sean was born in Belfast, Ireland on August 28th, 1936 and immigrated to Canada in November of 1964. He and Dympna were married in May of 1965. After spending some time in Calgary, Edmonton, Uranium City and Vancouver, they settled in Kamloops in 1970. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Father Lui Santi on Saturday, August 15th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2826 Bank Road, Kamloops.
