PAUL SIEGFRIED SCHMIDT.It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Schmidt on August 7, 2009 at Surrey Memorial Hospital at the age of 69. He is survived by his loving wife Martha, three sons, Jurgen (Melyssa), Thomas (Janice), Michael (Melissa), their mother Gerda and siblings Hildegard, Leo (Margo), Leonida, Edeltraud (Dieter) and Horst (Helga), sisters-in-law Olga (Bill) and Natalie (Heinz). Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Cylee, Brooke and Meika. He will be fondly remembered by his many nephews, nieces and their families as well as his many friends especially Ray and Sandjhee. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Reinhold and Berta, brothers Bruno and Lothar. Paul will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched. Viewing will take place at Fraser Heights Chapel 14835 Fraser Hwy., Surrey at 11:30 A.M. on Friday August 14, 2009, where a funeral service and celebration of his life will be held at 12:30 P.M. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Park 14660 - 72 Ave., Surrey.
