CLARK, WILLIAM “BILL” H.D. – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of William “Bill” Henry DeBlois Clark of Saint John, husband of Sylvia (Vautour) Clark, which occurred on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was a son of the late Major William H.(Knobby) and Dorothy (Belyea) Clark. Bill was employed with Irving Pulp and Paper as an industrial mechanic for 35 years. He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, member of the Air Cadets in his youth, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #69, he enjoyed canoeing, rafting, fishing, swimming and camping. Besides his wife Sylvia he is survived by three sons, William “Bill” Clark (Beth) of Saint John West, Patrick Clark of Calgary, Jon Clark (Aimee Van Wart) of Upper Golden Grove; two grandchildren, Ryan and Jamey Clark; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by one brother, Robert; two sisters, Grace Connor and Elsie Mazerall.
Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1460 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (506) 634-7425, with visiting on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am. For those who wish, remembrances to the I.W.K. would be appreciated by the family.
