The death occurred at the South Shore Villa on Monday, December 1, 2008, of Florence Edith Francis (nee Cameron) of Crapaud, formerly of Lady Fane in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late John Francis. Dear mother of Lloyd (Angela) Francis, Prince George, B.C., David (Vicki) Francis, Lady Fane, Ann (Erroll) Affleck, Marshfield, and daughter-in-law Beryl Francis, Prince George, B.C. Loving grandmother of Parker (Kristie), Mary Lee (Perry), John (Katie), Lindsay (Aaron), Jessica (Steve), Chelsea (Paul), Bret, Mallory, Cameron, and John Bruce. Great-grandmother of Matthew, Braedon, Ella and Luke. Also survived by her brother, Dr. Sheldon (Isabel) Cameron, sisters Marjorie Delaney and Ann Dawson and sister-in-law Mae Cameron. Predeceased by her parents, William and Bessie Cameron, son Howard Francis and brothers Donald and Lloyd Cameron. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud. No visitation by request. A private funeral service will be held from the North Tryon Presbyterian Church. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the A.L.S. Society or a charity of your choice.
