Dulcie Mary Wolfson, 87, of Tamarac and Orlando, FL, passed away on July 1, 2012. Dulcie was born on January 26, 1925 in Port au Port, Newfoundland, Canada to the late Stanislaus and Josephine (nee Parsons) O’Quinn. She earned a Bachelor’s degree at Memorial University, St. John’s, Newfoundland and became an elementary school teacher for over 30 years. Dulcie was predeceased by her sister, Lena Richards. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 61 years, Harold; children: Sylvia Knouse, Keith (Gayle) Wolfson, Craig (Rose) Wolfson, Rhonda Suarez, Glenda (Chad Thornton) Wolfson, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; sisters: Hilda (Norman) Mongeon, Sylvia (Joe) Crocker and Donna (Russ) Russell. A Funeral Mass will be held at Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port East on Friday, August 17th at 2:00 p.m. followed by internment at Port au Port East Cemetery concluded by a gathering at the Seniors Club located on Hynes Road, Port au Port East.
