M. Priscilla Monaghan, 89, of Moncton, with her family at her side, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, December 2, 2008. Born in Watervale, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Augustine and Mary (Kelly) Wisner. Priscilla was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Priscilla was of the Catholic faith and attended services at People’s Park Tower. She was a member of the CWL and Moncton Legion #6 Senior Citizens Group. Priscilla will be sadly missed by her daughter, Mary McCarron (David), Moncton; son Frederick Monaghan (Lynda), Moncton; grandchildren Kevin and Colin Monaghan, Michael and Sean McCarron; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, predeceased by her husband, Arthur M. Monaghan (1992); sisters Irene, Esabel; brother, Frank. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton, N.B. (506-858-1995), Wednesday, 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, December 4, 2008, 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bernard Sloan officiating.
