
Bruice Smith
SMITH, BRUICE - Bruice Willis Smith, 60, of River Glade passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in the Glades he was a son of the late Ross and Ella Smith. Bruice was a broker with Sameday Courier until illness forced retirement. He enjoyed bowling and weekends at the campground but most important was time spent with family, especially his grandchildren. Survived and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 41 years Linda (Clarke); his daughter Bobbie-Jo and her husband Brad Killam and his cherished grandchildren Ryan and Rebecca of Lewis Mountain; his sisters, Thelma Plume (Robert), Salisbury, Lilia Bruneau (Albert), Moncton, Betty Steeves, Albert Mines, Carol Woodman (William) and Susan MacLeod (Elton) of Petitcodiac; brothers, Henry, The Glades, Robert, Moncton, Michael (Sharon), Salisbury. Survived also by brothers and sisters-in-law Harold Clarke (Pearl), Yvonne Brown (Doug), Howard Clarke (Norma) all of Ontario, Brenda Preston (Gary) of NL and by many nieces and nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a brother Phillip, infant sister Joanie and brother in law Harvey Clarke.
Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visiting Thursday, August 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. and from where the funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel with Rev. David Evans officiating. Interment at the Glades Baptist Cemetery.
