On August 15, 2012 Mary Boettcher late of Prince Albert passed away in the Shellbrook Hospital surrounded by her family at the age of 91 years. Mary was born June 13, 1921 in Drink Water Sask. She married George Boettcher in 1945; they farmed in the Spruce Home area until George’s passing in 1990. Mary continued living on the farm for 4 more years, she sold the farm and bought her home in Prince Albert which she loved dearly. After moving to P.A. she joined the Legion, it became a big part of her life. She loved the Lord and all he blessed her with, to name a few: her yearly fishing trips with George, painting, traveling, wood working, gardening and her family. Mary will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Mary is survived by her 3 sons: Russell (Heather) of Holbein, SK, Eric of Domremy, SK and Fred of Holbein, SK; her 4 daughters: Penny (Everett) Altstadt of Whitfield, Barbara (Art) DeBruin of Canwood, SK, Sharon (Ken) Brown of Prince Albert, SK and Janet (Mitchell) Altstadt of Prince Albert, SK; her 17 grandchildren; her 17 great grandchildren; her brother in-law: Fred (Julie) Boettcher; and her 2 sister-in-laws Mabel Boettcher and Margaret Boettcher. Mary was predeceased by her parents: Frank & Janet Collier; her 3 brothers: Eric, Alec and Art; and her 3 sisters: Gladys, Jean and Marge. A Funeral Service for Mary will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at MacKenzie Chapel at 11:00 AM.
