SLOAN, KATHRYN LEE (nee Hannah) It is with great sadness the family of Kathy Sloan would like to announce her sudden passing on June 29, 2009 after a very long and courageous battle with a mitochondrial disorder. Kathy was born on March 09, 1961 in St. Jean, Quebec. Kathy was a very devoted and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She leaves to mourn, her husband Deane, son Conan, daughter Danika, father George, brothers Willy, Gord (Tammy), Greg (Sandy), Charlie, Darren (Jamie), mother-in-law Muriel, brothers-in-law Don (Jennifer), and Dennett, sister-in-law Dawnalea, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by son Tarl in 2007 and mother Gwen in 2001. At Kathy's request, there will be no formal service. Instead there will be a celebration of her life at the Hal Rogers Centre, 2025 Summit Dr., on Saturday, July 04, 2009 between 3:00 - 7:00p.m. Special thanks to Dr. Hollman for her dedication and love
