GRONER, ERIC HAROLD June 22, 1957 - May 23, 2009 Our Eric passed away from a heart attack at St. Paul's hospital in Vancouver. We would like to extend our sincere thanks for the efforts of the doctors and nursing staff in the CCU and ICU. Eric will be missed by his father Amund, mother Patricia, sister Ellen (Patrick) Quelch, nephew Devon, nieces Jenna and Kate. Eric was predeceased by his niece Taylor in 2007. He was born and raised in Kamloops and attended UBC after high school where he graduated with a degree in business. Eric found his calling at Canaccord Capital as an investment advisor for the last eleven years where he developed many lasting friendships and considered his co-workers his family. His true passion was travel and he saw more of the world than we could ever hope to. By far happiest times were family gatherings at the cabin on Shuswap Lake and spoiling his chocolate lab Rockford. A Memorial Service will be held at Schoening Funeral Service on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Should friends desire, donations to World Vision, #1 World Drive, Mississauga, Ontario, L5T 2Y4 in Eric's memory would be appreciated.
