We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Mr. Richard James Overwater on August 12, 2012 at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops at the age of 64 years.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie, his two sons Jerry (Kelly) and Danny (Kari); three grandchildren James, Jaydyn and Ciera. Also left to cherish his memory are four sisters Elsie, Millie, Pat and Phyllis.

Rick was predeceased by his father John, his mother Martha, brother Jack and sister Margaret.

Richard was born in Winnipeg on February 1, 1948, but his family moved to Vancouver when he was young. He was a well-known accomplished mechanic. Rick loved to travel to see his world. He also was a rancher in Kamloops with his family, while working in the automotive trade. He loved his family, his many friends and will be greatly missed.

No formal service by request.
