(nee Goosney) Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit on Saturday, March 1, 2008, Mary Robinson aged 82 years. Predeceased by her parents: Gilbert and Charity Goosney; sisters: Catherine Goosney and Frances Galliott; brothers: Roland, Matthew and Gilbert; sisters-in-law: Edith and Ann Robinson and brother-in-law: George Galliott. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 44 years Melvin; sister: Madeliene Penney (Max); sister-in-law: Elaine Goosney; brothers-in-law: Harris (Louise), Max and Ellis; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home 328 Hamilton Ave. on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. John the Evangelist Church, Topsail, date and time to be announced at a later date. Interment to follow at the St. John Evangelist Anglican Cemetery, Topsail. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Shriners' Hospital Patient Transportation Fund.
