Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Yarmouth. It was requested that there be family flowers only. For
those who wish, a donation to the Alzheimer's Society would be
appreciated. The family would also like to thank the caregivers at
The Meadows Home for Special Care for their care and attention to Emily since she
arrived. Emily was born on July 12, 1914 and raised in Quinan, and typical of
the times, worked really hard in modest surroundings on the farm
growing up. She held a variety of jobs after moving to Yarmouth in her
teens, but mainly kept watch and tended lovingly to Charlie, Al, and
Diane. She loved all her family and friends, but especially her
grandchildren, and bingo. Emily was also an active long time member of
the Catholic Women's League. She will be missed dearly by her family
and her many friends in the community.
