Sheila "Paddy" as she was affectionately known by her family, was born in Booterstown, Dublin, Ireland on March 20th, 1935 to Mary Helen (Sullivan) White and Norman Joseph Schofield White. Her family later moved to #11 Tenenure Rd, Dublin where she lived until she married William Richard "Dick" Park Watson of Dargaville, New Zealand on January 6, 1959. Dick and Paddy met in the late fall of 1958, when she was modeling and he was on a vacation. Together they returned, via steam ship, to Richard's Dairy farm and orchard in New Zealand to raise four children together. Unfortunately, Dick passed away suddenly on February 7th, 1966, and Paddy moved to Whangarei, New Zealand with her very young family. During her time of mourning, Paddy returned to Ireland for a short visit. In Ireland she met Mr. & Mrs. Lonsdale of Lethbridge, AB, who invited her back for a visit during her return trip to New Zealand. During this "summer of 1967" visit to Alberta; Paddy was introduced to Roy Elliot Harrigan of Medicine Hat, Alberta. They courted, became engaged, and in September, she returned to New Zealand for her four children. Paddy and the children arrived in Canada on November 11, 1967. Roy and Paddy were married on November 25, 1967, in Maple Creek, SK. They lived in Medicine Hat and were blessed with two more healthy sons. In 1974 the family moved to Roy's ranch in Maple Creek. In November of 1976 Paddy separated from Roy. The following November 1977 she was divorced, and she moved to Vancouver, BC, where she resided until her move to Kamloops, in 2001. Paddy will be missed by her children, grandchildren and great grandson: Steven Watson (Sheryl) and their son Ryan, all of Medicine Hat, AB; their daughter Shauna and her son Troy of Edmonton, AB; Marie O'Shea (Michael) and their daughter Meagan, all of Medicine Hat, AB and their daughter Kealey of Edmonton, AB; Geoffrey Watson (Melanie) and their daughters Gemmel and Jewelisa and son Evan, all of Irvine, AB; Jillian Christy (William) and their daughter Jade all of Medicine Hat, AB; Kevin Harrigan (Kathy) with son Garrett, and daughters Seltic and Allison all of Maple Creek, SK.
