ZIEBART On Friday May 1, 2009, Mr. Isadore "Ike" Ziebart of Kamloops, B.C. passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years. He is survived by his loving partner Ruth, daughter Georgia, two sons; Leonard (Leslie) and Greg (Janet) and his three grandchildren; Colin, Sean and Landis as well as two step-grandchildren; Sheena and Brandie. Ike was predeceased by his wife Alex in 1995 and all of his siblings. Ike was born in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan and moved to Kamloops in the 50's. He started in the restaurant business and then moved into the excavating industry before finally settling into electronics. He enjoyed woodworking, dancing and socializing with friends. Over the years Ike fought numerous battles with cancer. Prayers will be recited at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Monday, May 11, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Cathedral on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
