ROSE BACHYNSKI April 8, 1924 - April 30, 2009 Rose Bachynski passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC, on April 30, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Rose was predeceased by her son Blaine in August 2005, as well as four sisters Mary, Betty, Dolly and Pat. Rose is survived by her two daughters, Priscilla (Alvar) Nelson of McLure, BC, and Daphne Lester of Kamloops, BC, and sister Helen (Nick) Turik of Vernon, BC. Her eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren were a source of pride and enjoyment in her retirement years. Rose was born in Nelson, BC, on April 8, 1924 and grew up and lived the first part of her life in the West Kootenay area. From there she moved to Calgary in the late 70's and called that home for the next 20 years. Upon her retirement she moved to Kamloops to be closer to her family. Rose touched the lives of many people and all have been blessed by her warm and compassionate heart and loving smiles. God has you in His keeping Mom, but we have you in our hearts.The Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 4, 2009 in the Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel (285 Fortune Drive) where the family would like to share memories of Rose.
