Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on August 21, 2012, Roy Smith Sainsbury age 77 years of Newtown, Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by his parents; John and Gertrude Sainsbury, son; Glenn, brother; George, sisters; Verna, Hilda, 3 infant brothers and 1 infant sister, brothers-in-law; Arthur Murphy and Baxter Hall. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife; Eleanor, son; Brian (Patricia) of Newtown, brother; Job (Rosetta) of Cartwright, NL, sister; Dinah Murphy of St. Petes, Florida, grandsons; Steven (Carolyn), Jonathan (Lisa) and a circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service was held on August 24, 2012 at St. Luke`s Anglican Church, Newtown with Rev. Jeffrey Blackwood officiating. Interment followed at St. Luke`s Anglican Church Cemetery.
