BARTLETT Don passed away April 5, 2009 after a very short illness. Born Donald Steele on January 27, 1926 in Chilliwack, B.C. He leaves his loving wife of 56 years, Loraine, son Fred (Kim), daughter Robyn, grandchildren Jon, Josh, Lee-Anna, and his beloved Daisy. Predeceased by his brother Fred Steele and foster son Harry. Don served in the RCNVR during WWII, Grouse Mountain Ski Patrol and involved in the building trades. The family moved to Barnhartvale in 1967 where we small farmed. Mom & Dad cared for many foster children over the past 44 years. In retirement they enjoyed many trips and cruises. <B> Happy Sailing Dad. </B>Our special thanks to the nurses on 5 North, the step-down and I.C.U at Royal Inland Hospital, also to Dr. Zetner, you were all a great comfort. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 425 Lansdowne Street, Kamloops.
