WEBB, ANDREW - 1925-2012 - Andrew Webb passed away peacefully at the Serenacare Nursing Home on Saturday, August 25, 2012. He was born in Tracey, NB, the eldest son of the late Elliott and Dora (McCleary) Webb. Andrew will be sorrowly missed by his wife of 67 years, Effie (Courtney); two sons, Elliott (Brenda) of Moncton, David (Chloe) of Lutes Mountain; three grandchildren, Jason, Shawn and Jonathan. In addition to his parents, Andrew was predeceased by three brothers, Donald, Ivan and Norman; as well as his sister, Shirley. Andrew was a veteran of WWII RCN and was retired from CNR. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church as well as the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6. He was an avid outdoorsman and most at home while enjoying God's creation.
Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home with visitation on Tuesday, August 28 from 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the chapel of Fair Haven on Wednesday, August 29 at 2:00 pm followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Andrew's love for children was well known, therefore donations to a children's charity or foundation such as the I.W.K. or the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated, in lieu of flowers.
