It is with great sadness that the family of the late AMELIA (MILLIE) PIERCE of Fortune announces her passing at the Blue Crest Home in Grand Bank on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the age of 90. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Son Clarence (Kate) of Grand Bank; Daughters Beulah Smith of Fortune, Mary (Wesley) Foote of Lamaline, Betty (Terry) Skinner of Whitby, ON; 11 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents Jacob and Sarah Bond; Husband Clarence; Daughter Bessie; Brother Johnny; and Son-in-law Winston Smith.

Resting and visitation to take place from Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Fortune beginning Wednesday, August 22, from 4:00pm – 9:00 pm and Thursday, August 23, from 10:00 am - 8:30pm. Funeral Service took place on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11:00am from Fortune United Church. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery in Fortune. In Millie’s memory donations may be made to The United Church Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
