It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Margaret Anthony on Jan. 11, 2010, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility.
Born in Dominion, she was the daughter of the late Hugh and Elizabeth (MacNeil) Anthony.
She was employed as a secretary for the Ontario Medical Insurance Company until her retirement.
Margaret is survived by her sisters, Mary T. MacDonald, Bernadette (Pino) Parrin, Agnes (Ray) Hines, Donna (James) Higgins; brothers, Frank (Mary) Reid, Joseph ‘Joe’ (Bess) Reid. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Suzanne Ferguson; as well as her two grandchildren, Leslie Ann and Robert Brian.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Michael Brian Anthony, sister, Ruth, brother, Rod, brother-in-law, Ray MacDonald.
Cremation has taken place. By the request of Margaret there will be no visitation or funeral service. A committal service will be held at a later date.
