It is with sadness we announce the passing of Douglas Paull Thomson on Sunday August 19, 2012 at the age of 78. Doug leaves behind his wife and best friend of 56 years, Kay.
A proud father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle, his laughter was shared by all. He was an avid crib player who enjoyed life and people. His perpetual good mood and sense of humour always made those he met smile. A special thanks to all his friends from the Legions that he played cards with regularly. You kept him in the game! Also a special thanks to the hospice staff at Shorncliffe for taking such good care of him.
All his family and friends love him and will miss him greatly. A private memorial will be held at a later date. Condolences for the family can be left care of Devlinfuneralhome.ca
