MOLLOY, LINDA - It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Molloy, nee Bamford, formerly Crain, announces her passing, peacefully at home on Monday, August 27, 2012. Born in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Winnifred Bamford and the beloved wife and best friend of Gregg Molloy. Linda worked as an office administrator for more than 40 years prior to her retirement two years ago. She had a passion for gardening and she belonged to the Saint John Tai Chi Club. Linda loved to play cards with her friends and she and Gregg had the pleasure of travelling across Canada. She was loved dearly by her family and close circle of friends. Along with her husband, Gregg, Linda is survived by her sons, James Crain, Saint John NB and Peter Crain (Deb), Victoria, BC; brothers, Jim (Cheryl) Bamford, Petitcodiac, NB and Tony (Judy) Bamford, Rothesay, NB; sisters, Joy Price, Perth, ON and Dianne Porter, Fredericton, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (646-2424) with visiting Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 31, 2012 from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am followed by a reception at the funeral home. The committal at Browns Cemetery, Baines Corner, will follow the reception. Donations in Linda's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB or a charity of the donors’ choice.
