d’EON, Charles Edgar – 60, Ste. Anne-du-Ruisseau, and formerly of West Pubnico, Yarmouth Co., passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born February 15, 1952 in West Pubnico, he was a son of the late Aldric and Rosalie (d’Entremont) d’Eon. He had most recently been working with Sea Life Fisheries in East Pubnico, having also worked for R. A. d’Eon Transport. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 66, West Pubnico. He enjoyed Nascar racing and antique cars. He is survived by his common-law wife, Marlene (LeBlanc) Surette, and her son, Daniel Surette (Shelagh Kingston), Lloydminster, AB, as well as by his sister, Sheila d’Eon (Brian Atkinson), Yarmouth. Visitation took place from 7-9 Thursday evening, with prayers at 8 p.m., both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. A graveside service was held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 31 at St. Peter’s Parish Cemetery, Middle West Pubnico, Father Albenie d’Entremont officiated. It was requested that there be no flowers.
