We, the family of the late Eric J Long, would like to express a sincere and heartfelt thank you to our families, friends and neighbors who shared in our sorrow and loss. Thank you to those who visited, sent Mass cards, cemetery and sympathy cards, flowers and food. Also, thank you for the many phone calls of love and support. A special thank you to the nurses of 4W at the Northside General Hospital for the love and compassionate care Dad received and to the doctors who kept him comfortable during his last days. To Fr. Patrick O’Neill, a very special thank you for the time you spent with Dad. He truly cherished this time. We wish to thank the choir of St Joseph Church, the readers, the Ladies Auxiliary who provided the luncheon after the service and to the respectful staff of WJ Dooley Funeral Home. Finally, we would like to thank the North Sydney and Sydney River councils of the KOC for their presence.
