Simpson, Eric Robinson, 88, Hamilton, Ontario and formerly of Belmont and P.E.I. passed away peacefully on January 13, 2010, at The Village of Wentworth Heights in Hamilton, Ontario. Born in Bayview, P.E.I., he was a son of the late Earle and Annie (Robinson) Simpson. He was predeceased by his dear wife Della Cooke and sister Hazel Buell. He is survived by his loving daughter, Carol Robertson and son-in-law and best friend Chris, Stoney Creek, ON; beloved grandson, James, North Bay, ON; brothers Donald, Sault Ste. Marie ON, Harold and Preston of North Rustico. P.E.I; sisters, Nellie Shea, Springhill, N.S., Clemmie Campbell (Louis),Kensington, P.E.I., Vivian Hiscott (Vernon), North Rustico, P.E.I; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Eric will be remembered by family, friends and neighbours for his strength, humility, work ethic and sense of humour. Visitation will take place Friday, January 15, 7 – 9 p.m. and funeral on Saturday, January 16 at 11 a.m., both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro, Nova Scotia. Interment at a later date in Eagle Hill Cemetery, Westchester, N.S.
